My name is Dale Ted Watkins, I love what I do. It’s simple really my job is to make people look and feel good about themselves.

 

A simple theory but one that has taken me years to master a 30 year Journey In and around the world of men’s grooming, from back stage at the Mercury Prize, to Paris and London Fashion week and onto Pinewood studios, enabling me to get my hands on the hair of the Rich and Famous

Dale Ted Watkins is an amazing trainer! He will teach you how to cut men's hair in his style but in your way. Have learnt so many tips and tricks. This 1 day Classic barbering course is designed to help build barbering skills. The key areas the course cover are, style choice and suitability, head shapes, growth patterns, hairlines and the technical aspects of cutting, graduation and layering, freehand, fading and refining techniques. We'll be exploring clipper techniques, guard choice, clipper-over comb, see how to style and finish the look using the appropriate products, all helping to develop a better understanding of barbering.

Ideal for experienced assistants, newly qualified stylist or hair professionals, who are interested in improving their knowledge and skills in the exciting and rewarding world of classic barbering.

• Introduction into Barbering

• Cutting presentations showing step by step how each haircut is constructed, styled and finished

• Question and answer session throughout the cutting presentation allowing you to take your own notes on the step-by-step printed head sheets.

• Lunch break

• Practical hands on cutting session using male head blocks or models, working through the haircuts debating and discussing the techniques used.

• Get inspired using personalising and styling techniques

• Finish the look with a greater understanding of male grooming products

• Question and Answers session.
